The Convenience of Having a Small Kitchen TV
What do you think of the idea of having a small kitchen TV where you cook and eat your meals? You may think that
there really is no need for something like this, but you would be mistaken in that line of thinking. Of course,
there is no law stating that you must have a television in your kitchen, but they can come in pretty handy at
times. Here are some really great reasons to have a small television set in your kitchen:
• Access to recipes – If you have a small television in your kitchen, you can watch videos of your favorite
cooking shows and follow along to recreate the dishes the chefs are making. A television with a built-in DVD player
lets you watch cooking videos, which is convenient because you can pause and rewind when you need to.
• Keep kids quiet – It can be difficult to keep kids quiet during meal times, but if you have a small kitchen
TV, you can put on their favorite cartoons to watch while they are eating. This is great for kids who love to watch
television while they are eating, but you don’t want the mess in the living room.
• Never miss programs – There are some things you do in the kitchen which require you to stay right there, such
as preparing certain foods that need to be watched constantly.
With a kitchen television, you don’t have to miss your favorite programs because you are stuck in the kitchen.
Types of Kitchen Televisions
There are a few different types of televisions you can get for your kitchen that don’t take up a whole lot of
space. One design is a small four or six inch television that can be attached beneath a cabinet, so it is where you
can see it, but out of the way at the same time. Other models include:
• Portable televisions –You can get these with screens that range from four inches to 14 inches, and they can
easily be placed on a countertop or table, and easily moved when necessary. Some of these are combination
televisions and radios, so you have your choice of watching programs or listening to music.
• Built-in televisions – There are refrigerators now available that have televisions build right into the doors.
This means that you can have a kitchen television that isn’t going to take up any space at all, or need to be
installed under a cabinet.
• Hand-held televisions – You can get tiny, hand-held televisions that you can take with you anywhere, not just the
kitchen. These are handy to have if you don’t have a lot of room, but still want to be able to see programs or
listen to music.
As you can see, there are all kinds of great reasons to have a television in your kitchen, and there are a
number of different types you can choose from. Take a look at the various models today, and find a small kitchen TV
that is just right for your needs.
